Fundraiser launched for community radio station Resonance 104.4FM – Brixton Buzz

A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to raise money for Resonance 104.4 FM, a South London-based non-profit community arts radio station run by the London Musicians’ Collective (LMC).

Jude Montague’s fundraising appeal says:

Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I fundraise for Resonance 104.4fm and your contribution will have an impact whether you give £5 or £500. Every little gesture counts.

Thank you for your support. I’ve included information about Resonance 104.4fm below.

Imagine a radio station like no other. A radio that makes public works of art that have no place in traditional broadcasting. A radio station that is an archive of the new, the unknown, the forgotten, the impossible.

It is an invisible gallery, a virtual art center whose place is at once local, global and timeless. And that in itself is a work of art. Imagine a radio that reacts quickly to new initiatives, has time to breathe and reflect.

A laboratory of experimentation which, by its singularity, brings out a new audience of listeners and creators. All of this and more, Resonance104.4fm aims to make London’s airwaves accessible to the widest possible range of contemporary art practitioners.
